Welcome to the Astolat MRC web site. 

We are a small club with about 26 active members and several more who come on an occasional basis. We meet on a Tuesday evening between 7.30pm and 10.00pm in the ground floor meeting room of the Guildford Methodist Church, Woodbridge Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4RG (next to the Cricket ground). All scales, gauges and periods are catered for – N gauge through to O gauge and historic to modern image. In addition individual members interests cover narrow gauge and G scale. Our President is Bob Symes – all round rail enthusiast, railway documentary film narrator, model railway engineer and a former Tomorrow’s World presenter.

We have an annual exhibition in the meeting halls of the Methodist Church on the third Saturday of January (9.30am to 5pm) that attracts several hundred people and we also send some of our layouts to other exhibitions – see Exhibitions for further details.
